Your baby will never be this tiny again. The newborn stage is fleeting. Capturing these moments beautifully requires a blend of preparation, care, and trust. We aim to capture the love, connection, and stunning details of your little one while you sit back, relax, and soak it all in.
When to Schedule Your Session
Ideal Booking Time: Schedule during your pregnancy, preferably between 28–34 weeks.
Newborn Photoshoot Window: The best time is between 5–14 days after birth when babies are typically curled up and sleepy.
Extended Window: We can capture beautiful images up to 6 weeks old. Older babies bring their unique charm.
Flexibility Guaranteed: If your due date shifts, we can adjust your session date based on your baby’s arrival.
Booking early ensures your preferred date, themes, colors, and styling can be well-planned in advance.
Tip: Avoid scheduling your photoshoot on the same day as medical appointments.
What to Expect During the Session
Expect sessions to last around 2 to 4 hours. This gives ample time for feeding, cuddles, and soothing.
Our approach is gentle and baby-led; we follow your baby’s pace.
Crying, feeding, and diaper changes are entirely normal during the session.
For hygiene, shoes are not permitted in the studio.
What to Bring
We keep it simple for you. At Littlebums, we provide everything needed for the photoshoot.
We Provide:
All props, wraps, outfits for the baby, headbands, hats, blankets, and backdrops.
A changing tray and washing area.
You Only Need to Bring:
Extra milk (if bottle feeding)
Diapers and wipes
Hot water (if needed for making formula)
A pacifier (if your baby uses one)
A change of clothes for yourself (just in case)
Optional Items:
Any sentimental item you’d like to include in the shoot, such as a toy, heirloom, baby scans, or wedding rings.
How to Prepare Before the Shoot
To help your baby settle in and sleep soundly during the session:
Give your baby a full feed just before leaving or upon arriving at the studio.
Try to keep your baby awake for 30 minutes before the session.
Dress your baby in a loose button-up onesie for easy undressing.
The studio will be kept warm, so dress in light, breathable clothes for your comfort.
